CAUTION: this post is about the history of the church, only read if:
1) you really wanna noe just a little eensy bit of the history
2) you are really bored
today catechism was interesting...for some reason (: anyway anuty joyce was explaining to us the church's history and i found out there are 2600 different kinds of catholicsm and christianity. but roman catholics, are original :D! i mean they were there right from the start... and yea i admit the early roman catholic ppl used to fight a lot with the eastern catholic ppl then the eastern ppl ( prodistans, i think) seperated cos of some other beliefs. oh and i found out that the prodistans were not called that until much later... then there were also the anglicans... who are much like us cos they are some form catholics too... but cos there was this king henry 8 guy who wanted to marry more wives but the church obviously didnt allow... so he seperated. i think my catechist said st andrews cathedral is anglican? i dunno.... i thought grassae goes there... and she's christian... hmmm... oh well. ok gtg buey
